Sabre56 creates hosting sites

Sabre56, which advises BTC miners on the development and operation of data centers, intends to create its hosting sites. For this purpose, it was decided to use raised funds for $35 million.

Sabre56 plans to reach a capacity of 150 mW already by the end of this year. The four facilities, construction of which has already begun, will be located in Texas and Wyoming. The company’s CEO, Phil Harvey, said the facilities will grow gradually, increasing by 7-15 mW each month. The first batch of data centers is scheduled to go online in March.

Phil Harvey noted that the main investors were private individuals. Recently, there have been difficulties with the areas where the equipment could be located and with the supply of the devices themselves due to the bankruptcy of major hosting companies.

The cost of the fixed-rate power contracts has not been disclosed, but Phil Harvey assures that the cost per kWh will be $0.068-$0.072. Sabre56 representatives have announced a “waiting list” of customers who have previously worked with the company.
