The bearish market is not reducing interest in investing

According to Glassnode, sales of coins mined by miners are at their highest level in five years. The historical maximum of bitcoin hashrate recorded at the same time indicates a high level of investment activity in terms of the capacity acquisition.

Investors are taking advantage of the opportunity to buy equipment at deep discounts, at prices that are at record highs since spring 2020.

Some companies are funneling capital into bitcoin. Thus, MicroStrategy may increase the number of coins from 130 thousand to 150 thousand. Note that the company uses only its own sources of funding, not borrowing.

The third largest BTC wallet (unrelated to exchanges) grew by 4,779 coins during the last few days. Its balance is now 143464 bitcoins. A total of $3.2 billion was invested in digital assets, as the owner’s investment strategy has been in place since 2019.
