Pega to launch the world’s first “green” mining pool

Pega Mining is working to make cryptocurrency mining as environmentally friendly as possible. Moreover, the company aims to reduce the harmful effects of mining on the environment.

The launch is scheduled for 2023. The UK-based management company says it will not only use renewable energy sources for BTC mining but will also allocate some of the funds to planting trees. Pega Mining believes it can reduce the carbon footprint of bitcoin mining this way.

Right now, the project is in the pre-launch phase. The company says it accepts all mining customers, regardless of what percentage of their activity is green energy.

However, there are incentives of up to 50% for those using renewable sources. The pool’s team includes miners who have a great understanding of what it takes to successfully mine cryptocurrencies. Also, Pega Mining emphasizes the fact that such activities can influence major market players, such as Tesla, and make them accept BTC as payment again. And this, in turn, will have a positive impact on the coin’s exchange rate.
