On March 12 this year, Bitmain officially announced the release of the Antminer S19 XP Hyd. This ashik model was developed with liquid cooling capability. And it was positioned as the best in its class in terms of hashing speed and efficient mining of virtual coins.

• Other asics are cooled by built-in fans. The Antminer S19 Hydro series uses liquid to keep the miner from overheating.
• This is not Bitmain’s first experience in creating devices of this type. The company has tried to design something like this before. But, as a rule, these asics are not intended for a wide audience. Largely because of the price range. Also, due to the complexity of the assembly and the presence in the miner a large number of parts, repair and purchase Antminer S19 XP Hydro beats on the pockets of many fans of mining virtual coins.

These include:

• high cost, we managed to find a device for 13,800 US dollars at a discount (about 80,000 Russian rubles), which is not bad even for a machine of this level;
• the limited number of units produced in this series;
• not many companies where you can buy this model;
• probably one device will not be enough for full-fledged virtual coin mining, since these asics cannot work alone;
• the theoretical need for a centralized cooling system. It, by the way, is also offered by Bitmain. And such a container will cost from $100.000.

The device was also presented at the global mining event in Mexico. Ultramining specialists were able to see the ashik with their own eyes.

Despite the fact that more than eight months have passed since the release of Antminer S19 XP Hydro, this equipment is still in demand. It held a place of honor among all the devices presented at the World Digital Mining Summit 2022.

Whether to buy Antminer S19 XP Hydro in 2023

At the moment the device has its advantages and disadvantages. Objectively, this ashik is great for industrial mining. Preferably with a special cooling system provided by Bitmain.

Now there are not many devices that would offer such high technical characteristics. Therefore, the demand for Antminer S19 XP Hydro will remain in 2023.
