Miners’ income has increased significantly in the last month

The size of the increase in income of miners last month alone was 50%, rising from $13.6 million to $23 million. It was possible due to the fees and commissions for transactions. 

Note the fact that the fall to $13 million was the first in two years. At that time, not only the decline in bitcoin value but also the difficult geopolitical situation and the severe energy crisis were against miners. The pressure was so widespread and unexpected after taking off in 2021 that many, including large companies, were forced to file for bankruptcy. 

Now bitcoin has shown growth, and even though its value is still far from its peak, it has already allowed the income of miners to grow. More and more participants are joining the BTC network, which provokes a regular increase in mining complexity.

At the same time, such activity scares environmentalists. According to Cointelegraph, last October BTC energy consumption increased by 41%.
