A large foreign company is looking for new employees who would be engaged in mining and crypto wallets
The organization in question is Block. According to an insider, representatives of the company have posted several ads on www.linkedin.com looking for new specialists. Block is looking for partnership and communications managers. An employee is also needed in a department specializing in BTC mining policy.
Theblock.co says that, based on the ads, Block is developing virtual coin mining devices (specifically BTC) as well as components for them.
A post on www.linkedin.com says that in addition to the mining devices, they will also have to keep an eye on the software. Specialists will also have to keep an eye on other operational issues. Namely:
- power status;
- level of cooling;
- presence of dust and its timely cleaning;
- performance check;
- adequate operation of the pool and so on.
The new specialists will also develop new generations of bitcoin mining asics.
Thomas Templeton, Block’s general manager of hardware, turned in a comment to CNBC in January of this year.
According to the specialist, modern systems designed to farm virtual coins face the problem of heat and dust dissipation. The hardware regularly deteriorates, which affects the efficiency of crypto mining.
Thomas Templeton says that the company’s challenge is to «create something simple, but at the same time, to make it work.» The specialist also hopes that Block will manage to make an asicle that will make less noise and will be most suitable for home use.
