In Siberia there will be new power capacities necessary for mining virtual coins?

The possibility of building new facilities that produce electricity is being considered. These facilities will be designed for miners from the south-eastern part of the energy system of the Siberian region.

This was announced by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolay Shulginov.

The official noted that Siberia has attracted the attention of people mining crypto. All because of the low electricity tariffs. Due to the demand for electricity, the region needs additional capacity. 

According to Nikolai Shulginov, creating conditions for legal mining is in the interests of the state. And the construction of new facilities generating electricity will contribute to the legal and large-scale mining of virtual coins.
