Hive Blockchain started receiving hardware with Intel micro-chips

Hive Blockchain will soon receive its second shipment of devices from Intel: an additional 420 BuzzMiner will be delivered shortly, and the total shipment will reach 5,800 units with a capacity of 630 Ph/s. In November, 262 asics have already arrived at the miner.

By the end of the year and during January, Hive will receive the previously paid-for 2130 Antminer S10j Pro. With their help, the hash rate will increase by another 185 Ph/s. Including the available video cards, Hive Blockchain’s capacity has reached 2.51 Eh/s.

According to Hive president Aydin Kilic, all devices are owned and unencumbered:

GPUs run on a special algorithm for mining altcoins. This cryptocurrency is subsequently exchanged for BTC. According to the results of the last month, 39.3 BTC were obtained with the help of graphics cards, and 224.7 BTC were obtained with the help of asic miners. In total, the number of mined bitcoins amounted to 264 coins.

Kilich added that the main benchmark is profitability figures, not the maximum use of the devices. Recall, the contract for the purchase of equipment between Hive Blockchain and Intel was concluded in March of this year. The miner had to wait quite a bit, although deliveries for certain categories of customers began back in July.
