Will Elon Mask help a large energy company to start mining?

Duke Energy – one of the largest energy companies in the USA – is planning to consider the implementation of mining as part of a demand response strategy. Except for this step Duke Energy is going to attract Elon Mask to discuss transport electrification and decarbonization of the network.

To this aim the analyst of Duke Energy posted a tweet tagging the head of Tesla and asked about the possibility of placing solar panels on the car roof. Justin Orkney said earlier that the company is exploring the possibility of BTC-mining from the side of the network’s disbalanced brought by the implementation of the renewable energy sources.

At the end they should find out how to scale and introduce miners on the net. The miners will also win.

Tesla is already collaborating with Block and Blockstream launching products connected with mining. Thus it will not be new for it. As we remind above, this project will be profitable for both sides.
