Will the U.S. go to the trouble of restricting BTC mining because of the demands of environmentalists?

This is not the first time that American eco-activists have advocated limiting cryptocurrency mining. But how can virtual coins affect air pollution? In the U.S., mining emits about as much carbon into the atmosphere per year as several million cars.

Members of the public hope that restrictive measures, in the context of new transactions in the crypto industry, will help affect the Earth’s rapid climate change.

The eco-activists’ report was published last week. And it has already attracted the attention of not only the residents of the United States, but also other countries.

There have always been a considerable number of crypto-farms in the United States. But after the ban on mining in China, their number has increased several times.

The fact is that effective bitcoin farming requires enormous capacities. Which, in turn, triggers huge carbon emissions into the atmosphere.

The state of New York has already passed a moratorium law that regulates crypto farms that mine BTC.

It is known that these restrictions have not had a significant impact on the crypto market and the value of bitcoin in general.
