Mississippi Senate poised to protect miners’ interests

The “Right to Mine” bill, which was introduced by Senator Josh Harris, received the approval of the Mississippi Senate.

According to the document, miners can work at home, and cryptocurrency mining is recognized as an important element that can strengthen the economy and stabilize the state’s energy system.

Despite the fact that there is a clear trend in the U.S. to strengthen controls and restrictions on miners, as well as impose new requirements for their work, Mississippi authorities intend to take advantage of the integration of bitcoin into the economy and energy system.

Note that a similar attitude, which is not in line with the policy of the ruling Democratic Party, is also demonstrated by the state of Arizona. Its Senator Wendy Rogers, who represents Republicans, introduced a proposal to consider amendments that could give bitcoin the status of a means of payment.
