Many asics were stolen in the Republic of Khakassia

According to information from the FSS Department of the Republic of Khakassia, 287 devices for mining cryptocurrencies were stolen. It is noteworthy that the suspects are three employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They were charged with theft for 63 million rubles.

According to the materials of the investigation, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and another person, an individual entrepreneur, were illegally placed on the territory of the enterprise container with asics for mining cryptocurrency. Further, the accused, who had access to the expensive property, committed theft. As justification, they cited a debt for the storage service.

Now the investigation is ongoing. The police initiated a criminal case.
