Blockfusion has been ordered to stop the activity

Information has surfaced about Bit Digital’s receipt of a cease and desist order. The document was sent by the authorities of Niagara Falls.

Note that the Bit Digital miner has placed about 17% of its equipment on the Blockfusion premises. According to the order from the authorities, cryptocurrency mining must be stopped until the facility is brought into compliance with city zoning laws.

According to Bit Digital, it received a notice a few days after the mining moratorium ended. The company also said it was working on new requests to extend operations, but it could take a long time.

Recall that over the summer, Niagara Falls residents expressed concerns about the noise and other problems they felt the mining businesses were causing. After the complaints became too numerous, a 180-day moratorium was imposed, which expired on September 30.
