CleanSpark Boosts Bitcoin Mining by Acquiring New Sites and Increasing Capacity by 38%

CleanSpark has announced the acquisition of two new Bitcoin mining sites in Mississippi for $5.775 million, adding 16.5 megawatts (MW) to its capacity. Additionally, the company closed on its second site in Wyoming, expected to add 3 exahashes per second (EH/s) to its hashrate upon completion.

According to CEO Zach Bradford, CleanSpark’s operational capacity has soared by 38% over the last seven days, totaling 211.5 MW of new capacity. The company has set ambitious targets to reach a hashrate of 37 EH/s by the end of 2024 and 50 EH/s in 2025.

The new Mississippi sites will be equipped with Bitmain‘s Antminer S21 Pro miners, adding approximately 1 EH/s to CleanSpark’s operating hashrate. These moves reflect the company’s drive to increase its market share and deliver long-term shareholder value.

CleanSpark continues to expand despite challenging market conditions, demonstrating confidence in the future of Bitcoin and its role in the global economy.
