Canaan Unveils High-Efficiency Avalon Immersion Cooling Miner A1566I

Canaan Inc. (NASDAQ: CAN) has launched its latest Bitcoin miner, the Avalon Immersion Cooling Miner A1566I, at Mining Disrupt 2024. The new miner, presented by Canaan’s VP and General Manager Ning Zhang, offers a hash rate of 249 terahashes per second (T), energy efficiency of 19 joules per terahash (J/TH), and power consumption of 4500 watts (W), according to Canaan.

Designed for extreme temperatures from 20°C to 50°C, the A1566I uses advanced immersion cooling technology to enhance heat dissipation and efficiency. This third-generation miner aims to maximize output while minimizing operational costs, with a lightweight design (11kg) that simplifies transport and installation.

Ning Zhang highlighted Canaan’s commitment to green mining, announcing a 2% voucher for customers using renewable energy. The Avalon A1566I integrates seamlessly with existing equipment, making it a cost-effective upgrade for Bitcoin miners.
