Bitmain Announces Future Sale of Antminer KS5 Series: The King Miner of Kaspa

Bitmain has announced the future sale of its highly anticipated Antminer KS5 and KS5 Pro series, dubbed the “King Miner of Kaspa” in the market. The sales will commence on June 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST, with limited quantities available. The KS5 and KS5 Pro are priced the same, and units will be shipped randomly between the two models, according to BITMAINtech.

The Antminer KS5 offers a hashrate of 20T and a power consumption of 3,000W, delivering an efficiency of 150J/T. Meanwhile, the KS5 Pro boasts a higher hashrate of 21T and a power consumption of 3,150W, maintaining the same efficiency of 150J/T. Both models will be available for $500 per terahash (T) after applying coupons.

Shipping for the KS5 and KS5 Pro will begin in October 2024, following full payment. This new series represents Bitmain’s latest innovation in the cryptocurrency mining industry, specifically tailored for mining Kaspa.
