The complexity of BTC-mining is continuing to decline

This process began when the leader of crypto-ranking went under $20 000. As a result the number of active miners started to decline. According to the BTC.com information, the level of complexity has been decreasing regularly since May.

Despite that the situation doesn’t look so critical like it was during the relocation-times from China it is dangerous because it has systematic character. Such things haven’t happened since cryptowinter 2018.

At the same time the decline of the complexity level could be caused by switching off the equipment because there is a lot of information in the media about selling off the miners’ resources to pay for current expenses. Ithan Vera, the co-founder of Luxor Technologies, said that creditors are concerned about loans that were given for the equipment collateral.

Today it is not clear were miners and their creditors able to find the decision, but the declining of complexity indirectly demonstrates the shortense of compute capacities.
