TeraWulf Cuts Electricity Costs to $0.045 per kWh

TeraWulf announced a significant drop in average electricity expenses at its mining sites, reducing the rate to $0.045 per kWh. This reduction was achieved through demand response programs and zero-carbon power supplies. Previously, costs fluctuated around $0.05–$0.06, limiting the company’s ability to expand more aggressively.

According to internal data, these new rates have already made an impact: in January and February 2025, average expenses fell by approximately 15%. Analysts believe that TeraWulf’s lower energy threshold offers additional scaling potential without a dramatic surge in operating costs. In April, the company plans to implement further measures aimed at reducing peak-hour consumption, driving even greater efficiency.

TeraWulf is currently integrating new facilities and upgrading existing ones to reach its targeted hashrate. Switching to low-carbon energy sources has become a crucial competitive advantage, aligning with the global trend toward cleaner solutions.
