Tari Universe, launched with the involvement of Riccardo “Fluffypony” Spagni, offers users a gamified mining experience, visualizing the blockchain as a tower with each block represented as a floor. This approach makes the mining process more understandable and engaging for users.

The application uses the ASIC-resistant RandomX algorithm, allowing users to mine Tari tokens using regular computers without specialized hardware. Users can join “Tribes” and work together to add new floors to the tower, demystifying blockchain mechanics.

Tari Universe also employs the decentralized p2pool software, eliminating the need for centralized mining pools and associated fees, making mining more accessible to everyone.
