Tesla Cybertruck with Free Supercharging as a Mobile Mining Rig

According to a TorqueNews report, a Tesla Cybertruck owner with lifetime free Supercharging converted the pickup into an Antminer S21 XP-based mining station. He estimates generating about $17.48 per full charge, or up to $524.56 monthly. The user claims to run connections via 5G or Starlink, and the truck’s battery can support around 34 hours of mining without recharge.

Experts note that such a setup could be profitable if Bitcoin’s price remains stable, but Tesla’s stance on this usage is unclear. Some suggest continuous power draw may affect the battery’s health. Nevertheless, the Cybertruck owner argues that on-the-go mining is economically viable thanks to free electricity.

Tesla has yet to offer an official comment, and social media users are debating the legality of using a vehicle battery and Supercharging for commercial mining. Meanwhile, the Cybertruck owner continues his trial, claiming to have mined a notable BTC amount within a few weeks.
