Belarus exempts individual mining income from taxes
According to MyFin, Belarusian individuals mining cryptocurrencies are free from taxation on their mining profits. This legal condition enhances the attractiveness of mining for private citizens, reflecting the government’s intention to encourage emerging tech fields and promote blockchain-related ventures.
Meanwhile, business entities in Belarus must hold High-Tech Park residency for lawful mining. However, private miners without employees can operate openly, bypassing those formalities. Observers believe these incentives create a supportive ecosystem for smaller operators and crypto hobbyists.
Nonetheless, regulators are closely monitoring the industry’s evolution. If the number of miners continues climbing, new legislative measures may be considered. For now, individual mining remains one of Belarus’s most liberally managed areas of the cryptocurrency sector.
