US ASIC Makers Expand Market Share After Tariffs

Experts report that American companies are aggressively ramping up ASIC production amid raised import tariffs on Chinese devices. Since January 2024, local market growth has reached 15%, with domestic ASIC deliveries climbing to 38,000 units. Although Bitmain holds 90% of the global share, it is ceding some influence in the US.!

Cointelegraph estimates that at least 22 US-based firms have already inked long-term deals with local factories to secure supply chains. Average lead times for Chinese machines now stretch to 2.5 months, while American suppliers promise shipping within 30 days. Additionally, newly built factories in Texas and Arizona boast a combined capacity of 3.2 GW.

Analysts predict that by 2025, imports of ASIC hardware could fall by 10–12%, with domestic brands enjoying continued growth fueled by pro-tech manufacturing policies. Observers believe this will spur further expansion of mining capacity on American soil.
