Riccardo “Fluffypony” Spagni, known as the former lead developer of Monero, has unveiled a new mining application called Tari Universe. The app aims to democratize mining by using an ASIC-resistant hashing algorithm, allowing users to mine using regular computers.

Spagni stated that the goal of Tari Universe is to make mining accessible to everyone by removing technical barriers. Users can improve their position on the waiting list by inviting friends and spreading the word about the app.

Despite legal challenges related to fraud charges, Spagni continues to promote his projects in the cryptocurrency space. Tari Universe has already attracted the attention of over 10,000 users waiting for the full release of the application.
