Actress Tamannaah Bhatia Questioned in Cryptocurrency Scam Probe

India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned actress Tamannaah Bhatia for questioning in connection with the ‘HPZ Token’ cryptocurrency scam. Investors are believed to have lost over ₹120 crore (approximately $16 million) through this scheme.

Tamannaah Bhatia is cooperating with authorities, sources report. ‘HPZ Token’ promised investors high returns from Bitcoin mining but turned out to be a Ponzi scheme. According to the ED, over 50,000 people were defrauded by the scammers.

Several key individuals have been arrested during the investigation, and assets worth ₹455 crore (about $60 million) have been frozen. Representatives of the actress stated that she was a victim of deception and is willing to assist in the investigation.
