Voronezh Mining Farm Seizure: Operation Allowed but No Sale Permitted

Authorities commented on the Voronezh case, where bailiffs seized a 40 mln ruble mining farm but did not prohibit its operation. Kommersant clarifies that officials merely sealed the equipment so it cannot be sold. Technically, the owner may still run the rigs unless the court explicitly rules otherwise.

However, legal experts note any earnings might later be seized to repay the debt. While the seizure alone does not halt mining, the risk remains: if debts remain unpaid, the equipment can be confiscated and auctioned off.

Many creditors welcome this approach since keeping the hardware functional could accelerate debt repayment. But analysts warn of potential depreciation, as either hardware aging or crypto price swings could reduce the farm’s value.
