Bitdeer Developing SEAL04: Next Step After SEAL03 Chip

Bitdeer is already working on its next chip iteration, SEAL04, building on the momentum from its successful SEAL03 launch. The firm aims for an additional 10–15% improvement in efficiency and performance. Company representatives say the project remains in early development, but key technology milestones have been set.

Industry analysts predict that SEAL04 is unlikely to reach pilot production before mid-next year. The previous SEAL03 achieved 9.7 J/TH, prompting speculation on whether Bitdeer might push energy efficiency closer to 9 J/TH or lower. Any further reduction in power usage translates into higher mining profitability. However, success also depends on electricity rates and hardware availability.

Some sources indicate Bitdeer plans to collaborate with large-scale facilities in North America and Asia to adopt SEAL04. While official production targets remain undisclosed, the company’s track record with SEAL03 suggests it aspires to lead the ASIC manufacturing race.
