According to the manufacturer, this unit consumes around 4,785 W, leading to a power efficiency of 15 J/TH — one of the highest in the industry. Experts suggest it could become the new standard for large-scale farms, where every percentage of energy savings is critical.

A key feature is its liquid cooling system, which helps maintain consistent temperatures and prevent overheating. Bitmain anticipates demand surpassing $50 mln in the initial months, driven by intense interest from major operators. Analysts point out that the S21+ Hyd suits high-density deployments, as its hydraulic loop offers superior heat dissipation in tightly packed data centers.

With such a powerful machine hitting the market, other ASIC vendors might respond by reducing prices or releasing equally robust models. However, Bitmain executives emphasize that their technology edge comes from years of experience developing specialized cooling systems and optimizing chip designs, giving them confidence in their new flagship’s success.
