Possible LHR Bypass Resurfaces for New GPU Series
Computer security experts are reporting potential attempts to override speed caps on the latest RTX lineup equipped with instant lock features. In previous generations like the RTX 3060 LHR, miners managed to nearly double their hash rate by installing modified drivers. Now, driver developers claim they’ve added a mechanism that detects mining loads and throttles throughput within seconds.
Unofficially, around 200 “unlock” offers appear each month on GPU-tuning forums. However, verifying real effectiveness can be challenging, as many tools might be fraudulent. In the U.S., about 2–3 companies have raised concerns that such hacks undermine ongoing export control strategies.
Should these methods prove effective, owners of restricted RTX models could push hash rates beyond 100 MH/s. Yet experts warn that any driver-level modifications can void warranties and jeopardize system stability.
