Bitdeer Reports 179,000 Active Rigs: 87,000 Owned, 92,000 Hosted

In its January release, Bitdeer confirmed a total of 179,000 operational mining units. Of these, 87,000 belong directly to the company, while the remaining 92,000 are hosted for clients. This split between proprietary and third-party machines enables flexible risk distribution.

According to Bitdeer spokespersons, such a setup allows quick scaling of capacity for various programs. The firm’s own rigs generate internal mining revenue, and the hosting segment offers round-the-clock technical support, boosting customer confidence.

Bitdeer plans to expand its rig count further, particularly with the rollout of the SEALMINER series, aiming to bolster leadership in the sector and increase hosting revenue. Management believes that well-equipped data centers will empower clients to grow hash rates cost-effectively.
