Miner revenues fall below $45 per PH/s, old models become unprofitable
Hashrate revenue has dropped to less than $45 per PH/s, threatening mining profitability for owners of older equipment models. Antminer S19 Pro and similar devices have become unprofitable, if electricity costs exceed $60/MWh.
The increase in network difficulty and hashrate has led to a decrease in mining profitability even with high bitcoin prices. Miners using outdated equipment are forced either to upgrade their capacities or leave the market.
Experts recommend that miners reconsider their strategies and focus on more efficient models to remain competitive under current conditions.
