In the village of Markovo, a concerned resident alerted energy officials about constant noise resembling a mining farm operation. The investigation confirmed the presence of illegally installed cryptocurrency mining equipment.

Specialists discovered four mining devices in an apartment, operating around the clock. Such equipment overloads electrical networks, creating risks of outages and fires. Energy officials noted that this is the 7,628th identified case of illegal mining in the region.
