Bitcoin’s Hashrate Hits 750 EH/s, Marking Record Highs

AMBcrypto reports that Bitcoin’s network power (hashrate) has climbed to 750 EH/s, with upper estimates nearing 1000 EH/s. This is a substantial jump from mid-2020 levels of around 100 EH/s. Observers point out that this scale of growth reflects enormous investments in mining hardware and facilities.

In previous cycles, similar hashrate spikes coincided with major BTC price surges, such as its move beyond $60,000. Now, the network is even more secure against potential attacks due to the unprecedented computational power. Nevertheless, profitability may become an issue if BTC’s value declines, prompting some operators to shut down.

Analysts note that many miners remain online during market dips, anticipating future rallies. As a result, Bitcoin maintains its status as one of the most resource-intensive and resilient blockchain networks.
