NiceHash adjusts price tiers: DaggerHashimoto and RandomXmonero from January 13

NiceHash announced a revision of its price gradations on the power marketplace, set to take effect on January 13. The changes will impact several popular algorithms, including DaggerHashimoto, RandomXmonero, and ETCHash. For instance, the minimum price decrement for DaggerHashimoto is being reduced from 0.001 to 0.0001 BTC/TH/day, potentially offering buyers more fine-tuned control over bids.

Similarly, RandomXmonero will see its price decrement shift from 0.01 to 0.001 BTC/GH/day. Such measures could attract new participants and help adapt to rapidly shifting market conditions. NiceHash also notes that simplifying the tier structure often spurs competition, giving miners better chances for consistent workloads.

Overall, analysts view this move as an effort to sustain marketplace activity amid rising hashrates on multiple algorithms. The company expects that finer increments will allow for quicker deal-making and fewer abrupt price jumps. The NiceHash blog indicates further updates are planned for the coming quarters.
