BitFuFu’s Cloud Mining Clients Mined 40% Less BTC in Q3 2024
BitFuFu reported that its cloud mining clients mined only 957 BTC in the third quarter of 2024, a 40% decrease compared to 1,614 BTC in the same period last year.
The decline in mining output is attributed to increased bitcoin network difficulty and higher electricity costs. Despite reduced production, revenues from cloud mining services grew by 51.4%, reaching $68.9 million, driven by a 75.3% increase in user numbers.
BitFuFu plans to improve mining performance by investing in more efficient equipment and expanding its capacities to meet growing demand.
