IREN Reaches 21 EH/s Hash Rate, Aims for 31 EH/s by Year-End

Mining company IREN announced achieving a hash rate of 21 EH/s by the end of October 2024. The company plans to further increase its capacity to 31 EH/s by the end of the fourth quarter.

The increase in hash rate was made possible by installing new ASIC miners with an efficiency of 13.5 J/TH. This allowed IREN to boost bitcoin production and strengthen its market position. The company also reported a production growth of 26.5%, reaching 439 BTC in October.
