Greenidge Generation Extends Dresden Mining Operations Until November 14 by Court Order
Greenidge Generation has secured a temporary extension to continue operations at its Dresden mining facility until November 14. This comes amid a legal dispute with New York State authorities.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation previously denied the renewal of the facility’s air permit. Greenidge is challenging this decision, stating it is unwarranted.
In the third quarter, the company mined 167 BTC, with 54 BTC from proprietary hashrate and 113 BTC for hosting clients, including NYDIG. Greenidge awaits the court’s decision soon.
