Soluna Signs Extended Agreement with Bit Digital: 17.6 MW Under New Partnership

Soluna and Bit Digital have finalized a contract granting Soluna access to 17.6 MW of operational capacity. Under the deal, Soluna will receive 35% of the mining profits generated. The move follows Bit Digital’s efforts to restructure its centers after ceasing hosting operations at Coinmint.

According to recent figures, Bit Digital had been expanding steadily over the past two years. However, issues with former locations led to a drop in hash rate and a need to reduce operating costs. By partnering with Soluna, the company aims to balance expenses while retaining adequate Bitcoin production levels.

Soluna representatives emphasize that this collaboration will also bolster their own service portfolio. Many analysts point out that although a 35% profit share lowers Bit Digital’s margin, it provides more stability in the long term. Ultimately, both parties are seeking a more flexible resource management model in a rapidly shifting market.
