Qareeb Data Centres Partners with Pantheon: Middle East Eyes Mining Expansion

Qareeb Data Centres has struck a deal with Pantheon to jointly develop mining projects across the Middle East. Qareeb will oversee site procurement and data center construction, while Pantheon provides its expertise in bitcoin mining. Estimates suggest that new capacity could span several dozen megawatts.

Pantheon, known for ventures in China and Kazakhstan, is now shifting focus to mitigate risks through the Qareeb partnership. Rapid returns are expected under the current network difficulty, capitalizing on region-specific energy resources. Final specifications for the first farms are anticipated within the next few months.

Bahrain-based Qareeb already holds a pipeline of Edge-center builds in the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and other major markets. This collaboration with Pantheon may open doors to an even larger clientele, strengthening Qareeb’s position in a highly competitive sector.
