BlockFusion Resubmits Niagara Falls Mining License Request

BlockFusion is reapplying for approval from the Niagara Falls City Council, aiming to secure a high-energy usage permit. The company previously faced a 20-month delay due to officials’ concerns over noise pollution and power grid strain. Council data indicates that if granted, the facility could use up to 10 MW within city limits.

Statistics reveal that around 12% of local complaints stem from the noise generated by mining operations. Local consultants note, however, that BlockFusion intends to install sound-dampening structures and adopt new cooling systems. The firm promises to keep decibel levels under the 65 dB limit.

If the request is approved, BlockFusion can swiftly deploy 4,334 miners. A public hearing is scheduled before a final decision is made. This initiative could become one of the city’s largest mining ventures, further boosting the local economy.
