Crypto Farm on Agricultural Land: Court Orders Equipment Removal in Ryazan Region

Prosecutors in the Klepikovsky District of the Ryazan Region have secured a court ruling mandating the dismantling of a mining farm set up on land officially allocated for agriculture. Inspections revealed that the plot, ostensibly for cultivating crops, was overgrown and neglected. Instead of tending to farmland, the owner installed crypto-mining gear and utilized power without proper authorization.

According to the supervising agency, this misuse violated land regulations, compelling the individual to remove all mining hardware. The court determined that such activity undermines local agricultural policies and could also facilitate unmonitored energy consumption. Previously, the area had witnessed unauthorized mining operations that heavily strained the power grid.

Currently, the landowner is required to restore the site to its proper condition and cover legal fees, incurred during the proceedings. Observers note that similar violations are often reported by local residents or uncovered during interagency inspections.
