CleanSpark acquires seven sites in Knoxville: major mining expansion

CleanSpark finalized the purchase of seven mining facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee. The investment totaled $60 mln, adding over 150 megawatts of available capacity to the company’s overall infrastructure. Observers believe this move will significantly boost production volumes and enhance profitability.

Early estimates suggest that the upgraded facilities may accommodate thousands of additional ASIC rigs in the coming months. CleanSpark aims to create high-performance nodes with advanced cooling systems to minimize the risk of overheating. The firm’s total hash rate could climb by more than 20% on an annual basis.

With this acquisition, CleanSpark solidifies its status as one of the largest miners in the US. Analysts also point out that the expanded infrastructure will grant the company greater flexibility in responding to market fluctuations and help maintain a leading role amid intensifying competition.
