JPMorgan notes improvement in Bitcoin mining economics
A new report from JPMorgan indicates the hashprice metric has risen by 5% in December, reflecting improved mining profitability. According to the bank, daily earnings per EH/s reached $57,3 тыс., the highest in seven months.
This surge stems from Bitcoin’s relatively stable price, nearly matching the rate at which total computing power is growing. Network load jumped by 6%, bringing the global hashrate close to 773 EH/s.
JPMorgan emphasizes that the current hashprice remains below pre-halving levels. However, analysts believe a rising revenue per EH/s may attract new participants and maintain competitive dynamics in the sector.
