Bobruisk Tax Officials Clarify: Mining Must Be Declared if Outside HTP

An informational campaign is underway in Bobruisk, led by the local tax office. Authorities specify that any mining profits obtained outside the High-Tech Park are fully subject to declaration starting in 2025. This requirement indicates that individuals running home-based token mining must now report earnings to government bodies.

Statistics reveal that over 200 private farms of varying sizes are operating in the city, though not all are registered as businesses. Estimates suggest each setup yields between 500 and 1,000 notional units per month, depending on the current cryptocurrency exchange rate. Until recently, many operators felt no obligation to disclose their income, relying on more lenient past provisions.

However, stricter oversight is now in place: tax inspectors are focusing on neighborhoods where electricity usage shows unexplained spikes. In some instances, these raids end with meter lockouts and fines if deliberate evasion is detected.
