BIT Mining: BTC Production Cost at $60,960
For February 2025, BIT Mining Limited (BTCM) reported an average cost per mined Bitcoin of $60,960. In total, the company generated 42.56 BTC, including both proprietary mining and client services. BIT Mining representatives emphasize that this figure is tied to market conditions and the expenses from newly upgraded hardware.
The firm also noted increasing contributions from other coins, specifically Dogecoin and Litecoin, which added supplementary revenue to its portfolio. Analysts suggest that diversifying digital currencies helps mitigate risks, although Bitcoin remains the primary earner. Interestingly, the company’s hashrate hit 2,588 PH/s, with each BTC taking about 4.5 days to mine.
In order to cut costs further, BIT Mining is exploring more affordable energy sources and streamlined logistics. However, if current trends persist, it plans to maintain its steady pace in the coming quarters. Management underlines that agile diversification and timely hardware upgrades are key success factors.
