MARA Holdings Spent Over $600 Million to Purchase 6,474 BTC in Two Weeks

MARA Holdings has invested over $600 million in acquiring approximately 6,474 Bitcoins (BTC) on the open market over the past two weeks. This significant purchase underscores the company’s aggressive strategy to accumulate cryptocurrency reserves.

The acquisition was made as part of a plan to utilize proceeds from recently issued convertible bonds. MARA’s total BTC holdings now amount to over 34,797 BTC, equivalent to approximately $3.3 billion in value.

Company representatives stated that investing in Bitcoin is part of MARA’s long-term strategy to strengthen its position in the cryptocurrency market and enhance shareholder value.
