250 MW Mining Farm: New Investor Launches Project in Bogatye Saby

A private backer is set to develop a large-scale mining facility in Bogatye Saby, featuring 250 MW of total capacity. Local sources report a first-phase budget of about $75 mln, with technical designs currently under review. If the schedule proceeds as planned, testing will begin by mid-2025.

Analysts estimate that once the second phase is fully operational, the site could host up to 6,000 ASIC devices, delivering more than 900 PH/s in computational performance. The investor aims to implement smart cooling systems to cut power consumption by an additional 12%, boosting the farm’s efficiency by 15% compared to industry averages.

Thanks to the rising demand for crypto hardware in Tatarstan, regional authorities anticipate roughly 280 mln rubles in annual revenue. Plans are also in place to establish a training center for local technicians focusing on digital infrastructure management. Market observers believe this facility could become a cornerstone of the republic’s blockchain adoption strategy.
