IREN Accelerates Launch of 1.4 GW Facility, Targeting April 2026
IREN has announced plans to expedite the launch of its 1.4 GW facility, targeting April 2026. This project will become one of the largest in the high-performance computing and mining industry.
Accelerating the implementation will allow the company to increase its computational capacities by 60%, significantly strengthening its market position. Investments in the project are expected to reach approximately $1.5 billion, with over 800 jobs to be created.
IREN’s management notes that the new facility will be pivotal in the company’s strategy to expand its global presence and meet the growing demand for AI and mining services.
