Miners in Ulyanovsk illegally mined cryptocurrency near the police department

A cryptocurrency mining farm located in the garage cooperative in Ulyanovsk. The owners mined tokens and stole electricity. It is noteworthy that there was a police station near the farm. 

The intruders installed the equipment only 150 meters from the law enforcement unit of the Zasviyazhsky district. The cryptocurrency mining devices were working very noisily, causing discontent among the residents. The fact of theft of electricity was recorded by officers of the FSB and UlGES. 

At the moment there is an inspection on the use of profits from mining for the financing of terrorist organizations. There is no information about the owners of the asics at the moment, as the owner of the garage, where the equipment was working, has not been found. 

Earlier, the mining machines were found in a psychiatric hospital in Irkutsk. The devices, which were located above the patients’ rooms, could have led to a fire. Also, in known cases, when due to illegal mining there was a fire, which led to the death of a person. It also happened in the Irkutsk region, which is extremely attractive to miners because of the availability of electricity.
