MicroBT Launches US WhatsMiner Online Shop
MicroBT has opened a U.S. WhatsMiner online shop with monthly production capacity of 10,000 units, offering faster delivery and local after-sales support.
MicroBT expands U.S. presence
Chinese bitcoin mining manufacturer MicroBT has officially launched its online shop in the United States. Customers can now order domestically built WhatsMiner rigs and pick them up directly from a Delaware warehouse within 24 hours of purchase.
The company said the move reflects its strategy to localize operations amid U.S. tariffs on Chinese mining hardware and growing institutional demand. By producing in the U.S., MicroBT cuts shipping costs, avoids import tariffs, and ensures faster delivery times.
Production and service capacity
According to MicroBT, its U.S. supply chain already supports more than 10,000 WhatsMiner units per month with a yield rate of up to 99%. The company has also established service hubs on both coasts and three official repair centers, which guarantee responses within 24 hours and repairs completed in under seven business days.
Competition among rivals
MicroBT began investing in American manufacturing back in 2021 with partner Synos. This decision became crucial after Washington imposed tariffs on Chinese-made rigs. Competitors are following suit: Bitmain is building logistics hubs in the U.S., Canaan has partnered with Luxor to finance Avalon sales, and Bitdeer is expanding deployments in Texas while preparing for U.S. production.
