Miners from Kazakhstan will be subject to a compulsory licensing procedure

According to Prime agency, which refers to representatives Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, at the highest level signed a document regulating the circulation of digital assets. It means that the licensing procedure will become mandatory for miners.

Recall that this law was adopted in January in the Parliament of the country. On its basis, a special regulatory framework for mining and transactions with digital currencies will be created. As a result, the amount of revenue in the state budget will increase.

Miners will be required to undergo a licensing procedure, provide information about profits and pay taxes. There will be two types of licensing:

Also, the regulator of Kazakhstan has tested the CBDC and recommended intensifying the use of digital currency. It is planned that it will be possible to get access to it this year.
